POLITE ADVICE

1. When you want to give polite advice, use a modal form
2. The following modals are used to give advice politely: may, could, should, might, would.
3. Examples:

• I would take an umbrella if I were you.
• You should go and see the dentist.
• It may help if you don´t talk about race.
