ADJECTIVE, ADVERB

6. PROBLEMS WITH ADJECTIVES AND ADVERBS
You must first be able to recognize advices and adverbs. Often adverbs are formed by adding –LY to adjectives, and these –LY adverbs are very easy to recognize. Ex.

RECENT (ADJ) - RECENTLY (ADV)

However, there are many adverbs that do not end in –LY . these adverbs can be recognized from their meanings. They can describe when smt happens ( often, soon, later), how smt happens ( fast, hard, well), or where smt happens ( here, there, nowhere)

6.1 USE BASIC ADJECTIVES AND ADVERBSCORRECTLY
ADJECTIVES have only one job: they describe nouns or pronouns.
ADVERBS do 3 things. They describe verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs.
Ex.

She sings beautifully.
